Greetings!
The holidays are right around the corner! It’s that special time when everyone reunites with family and friends. You celebrate with a hearty, home cooked meal and maybe you exchange a few gifts. Everyone decorates their home and is in a festive mood! If you’re like me, visiting my family usually involves a road trip.
I get ready for every road trip the same way. I go through a checklist of things I’m going to need to bring; I pack everything up, and I drop my car off at my local mechanic. I have him change my oil, check my brakes and tires, and look over my car as a whole. Usually, a small repair or two is needed, but at least when I’m on the road, I know that my car will get us to our destination safe and sound. I’m sure many of you do the same and feel the same.
Here’s something that you may have not considered. With the cold and nasty weather of winter coming in, is your roof ready? Just as you should prepare your car for a long road trip, you should prepare your roof for the upcoming winter. It may need general maintenance to best handle the weather. Gutters may need to be unclogged. Several shingles may need to be replaced. Anything could happen to your roof over time, especially as it gets older. As freezing rain or even snow begins pelting your roof, you want to ensure that it’s in tip top shape. You don’t want an unexpected leak or worse!
We at A. Brooks Construction Kanga Roof not only dedicate ourselves to performing quality roof installations for homeowners—we consider ourselves service specialists. Our highly trained technicians can evaluate your roof, identify weak spots and deficiencies, and offer you ways to extend the life of your roof by years. After one of our technicians visits your home and inspects your roof, you’ll know that your roof is in the best possible shape for the oncoming winter weather.
