A Rich History
After many years of planning, organizing, and hard work, Newtown Township Veterans Park was officially dedicated in May of 2011. Featuring an impressive Veterans
Memorial, three baseball fields, and three multipurpose rectangular fields—all named for different branches of the military—the park beautifully honors our country’s Veterans and their sacrifices. The 47-acre park also boasts extensive walking trails, a playground, and a restroom facilities building, all for the enjoyment of residents throughout the area.
A Promising Future
The fields at Veterans Park in Newtown don’t just represent a history of serving the community’s needs over the better part of a decade. They will also play a critical and significant role in the township’s future, allowing children and families to make great use of the fields, trails, and other facilities in the years to come. And A.
